Trip To The National Museum

 Mosque near our guest house
HG ready to go - notice how she doesn't sit with us. Darci & Fekadu are much cooler than us.
Thanks guys for being so patient with her.
I don't know what people put in their actual trunks around here because EVERYTHING goes on top.

Lucky heard - they have shade

Replica of Queen of Sheeba's palace
 HG pointing out EJ's birthplace
 I LOVE THESE THINGS!
Any guesses as to what they are?......

Believe it or not, they are pillows.
Yep, things to rest your head on.
Looks comfy doesn't it?
Yes, I bought me one.
When Ethiopia celebrated their centennial they made this giant book for the citizens to sign.  IT'S HUGE.  I was so impressed with it, I think I have several pics.  (We had just been studying the 2 books mentioned in the Bible that will hopefully have your name written in it. - Of course I knew I would use this as an illustration some day.  Now I can't wait to see just how big God's books are going to be if this is just a book for one nation's members.)
A portrait that represents the main tribes of Ethiopia.
Lion of Judah - need I say more?
What Lucy might have looked like standing.
 Lucy, or ahem, her replica
(still can't believe she wasn't there!)
Andy was fascinated by the fact of how few bones they actually have of her.
I don't think he's convinced. ;0)
