She was sound asleep when we got there.
Sister (the nurse) was determined she should wake up to meet her parents.

Let me take a good look & see what I've gotten myself into.

She has this serious face most of the time unless she's just been fed or......
unless her favorite nanny walks by like here.
She ADORES this nanny. All that woman has to do is walk by & it involkes an amazing smile. They have this little game that they play all the time. Even from across the room they play it. The nanny will make this cute little sound & IMMEDIATELY Genet starts laughing & copying her. I am so thankful she loves her so, but it will be hard for her to seperate from her.
That's my girl. Her tongue sticks out all the time when she is happy.

(Here she isn't Ellie-Joy yet & most of the time we
referred to her as Genet so she'd respond & so would the workers.)
But that will change in just a short 2 days....
Can't wait to more! And the bond between daddy and little girls.....amazing! I still have one with y daddy. Sorry to hear about your grandfather, we'll be praying.
